Demolition Derby

We took my little pumpkin to his first Demolition Derby at the County Fair last night.  He had fun watching the cars for a little while, but the he fell asleep!  I can't believe he could sleep with all the noise of the cars.

My little Inch Worm

It won't be long before Conner is crawling all over the house.  But for now, he moves along like a little inch worm.  He's learned to get up on his hands and knees, but he's not coordinated enough yet to make them move together to crawl. 

Play Time around the House

Conner turns 6 months old.

On Sept. 11th Conner turned 6 months old.  I can't believe how time has flown.  Conner and I took a trip down to Tallahassee to get him a "big boy" high chair for his birthday.  We got it all put together and that night he tried peas for the first time.  I don't think that he is all that fond of peas, but he ate them anyway.

St. Simons Island Trip

For Labor Day weekend, we met my parents for a little vacation in St. Simons Island.  It was a great time with family.  We wish it would have lasted longer.

Conner likes the beach.  He's usually pretty happy as long as he is outside.

He liked being able to put his toes in the sand.  I think he would have loved it if I would have let him get a big handful of sand...but I knew he would just put it in his mouth.

Whenever we play on the floor, Conner starts rolling.  He wont lay on his back for very long anymore.  It seems like everytime we lay him down, he just starts rolling.  He only ever rolls to his right side, though...never to his left.  Lately it's been pretty hard to change his diaper and get him dressed because he tries to roll over onto his belly as soon as we lay him down on the changing table.  I don't think it will be too long before he will be crawling around.

Riding in the Play Car

Our friends have a litle boy, Jackson, who is 1 1/2 years old.  We were over at their house yesterday and he was playing with his toy car.  We decided to see if Conner could sit in the car.  He sat up like a big boy and rode around the yard.  He even held on to the steering wheel.  Jackson helped push Conner around.  They both had fun!

He's growing up so fast.  It won't be long before we

have to get our little man a toy car of his own!

"Yumm...the steering wheel tastes good."

I would imaging that Conner is thinking, "Hey mom!  Look at me!  I'm cool."
